Kennel Keeper
What:
This is the thing (human?) that runs the Kennel. The Kennel is a
place full of creatures you probably won't see anywhere else.
Where:
There are two doors into the Kennel. One is somewhere in the Noose
or Gallows southwest of Devon's Ride, and the other is past the MK. To get to
the noose and Gallows, find the bridge south of DR on the Old Road. Get the
canoes, go down and go 3 or 4 east then north. The other involves opening the
pines somewhere and going through a waterfall.
Group Size:
4+ (1 high level bser, 1 channie to heal, 2 buffers -OR- 6+
non-specialties)
How:
If you went through the Noose and Gallows, then clear them of trolloc
mobs first. Then have your backstabber begin scouting and clearing the Kennel.
The Kennel Keeper is with three Mantis Warriors, so you will have to kill them
first. They will rescue the KK, so don't bother attacking him unless there's
nothing else to do.
Loot:
None of the mobs near the KK load anything, except the trolloc mobs,
which load the usual thin abs and basic gear. The KK has a Wristband (wristwear
{dodge/parry}), a couple Gold Crowns, a Bronze Belt (belt {raises dodge by 2}),
Dull Black Shield {on %}(parry), Thin Black Chain {on %}(dodge neckwear or weapon,
I'm not sure), and Bone-Crushing Mattock (club {good bash}).
